Mercurio Award has existed since 1999 for initiatives of particular importance in the context of economic and cultural exchanges between Italy and Germany. There are eight criteria that the jury follows for the award, including: job creation / saving, growth, sustainability and transfer of know-how. The awards ceremony takes place in the presence of German and Italian business leaders, prominent personalities of public life in both countries and representatives of the press.
